This is a point-in-time handoff aid, not a security audit or uptime guarantee.

1. AGREE ON THE SCOPE
[ ] List the exact public HTTPS URLs you are authorized to check.
[ ] Record the domain and environment: production, staging or another target.
[ ] State what is outside the check: login, forms, payments, other services.

2. CAPTURE A BASELINE
[ ] Record the time, original URL, HTTP response and redirect destination.
[ ] Record TLS expiry and whether normal certificate verification succeeds.
[ ] Preserve the original result in its own folder.

3. REPEAT AFTER THE CHANGE
[ ] Check the same original URLs and record another timestamp.
[ ] Investigate unexpected responses, redirects and certificate warnings.
[ ] Preserve both captures. Compare only observations that are known.

4. KEEP UNKNOWNS VISIBLE
[ ] Record unavailable observations as unknown; investigate DNS/network/TLS.
[ ] Check an ordinary browser if the server blocks an automated request.
[ ] Keep certificate verification enabled; fix the cause of the warning.

5. CHECK THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY SEPARATELY
[ ] Review important pages in desktop and mobile layouts.
[ ] Verify forms, login and checkout in the appropriate authorized test setup.
[ ] Agree who owns ongoing monitoring if scheduled checks or alerts are needed.

6. LEAVE A USEFUL HANDOFF
[ ] Include URLs, before/after times, results, limitations and unresolved items.
[ ] Assign a next owner for each unresolved item.
[ ] Remove secrets and unnecessary personal data before authorized sharing.
